Felt…Safe…Seen

Have you ever met someone who made you feel like you’ve finally exhaled?

Not because they completed you, but because they met you in the middle of your becoming. No pressure to “perform”, no pretending, no shrinking…just you, seen and appreciated in a way that makes you pause and ask, “Wait… is this real?”

That’s where I am right now.

There’s a connection in my life that caught me off guard in the best way. It’s new but not rushed. Light, but not shallow. There’s an ease to it that feels like a soft exhale after holding my breath for way too long. It reminds me of how love should feel…safe, steady, and simple. Not perfect, but peaceful.

What’s wild is that I didn’t even know I was craving this kind of energy until it showed up. You know that feeling when someone just gets you? When silence doesn’t feel awkward, and when honesty flows because you don’t feel judged? Yeah… that. That’s what this feels like.

I know I deserve this.
Still, I won’t lie…it feels like a dream. And maybe that’s what healing does. It clears your vision so you can actually recognize what’s good for you when it arrives.

So, if you’re reading this and you’ve been wondering if you’ll ever feel something real again…let this be your reminder: you’re not crazy for wanting softness, slowness, or something that feels emotionally safe. You’re not asking for too much. You’re asking for alignment.

And sis… when it finally finds you? Whew. You’ll know.
